Dearest friends of JunaProject, with a slight delay we wanted to wish you all a happy 2017!
In the recent months, we have not been very active and, to be honest, we wanted to take a short break ... some events gave us some food for thought, and we have tried to solve as well as possible some of the issues.
Almost three years have passed, we have had a blast and met enthusiastic and motivated people from various parts of the world! Unfortunately, we have now reached a point where we must ask ourselves how to continue with this project-experiment.
The current situation is as follows:
Juna1 has been in Shanghai for more than a year. The bike was recently handed over to Pauline who is currently abroad. As soon as she returns to the Chinese metropolis, she will take on some missions and will find someone to pass the bike on to in a new location. This will be one of the most important tasks in the coming months!
As explained in the previous post we have lost track of Juna2. We lost all communication with our Rider Alma. According to our latest information, the bike should be somewhere in Paris. Unfortunately, that is all we know! If you see it, give us a shout!
Juna3, on the other hand, has come back to us in Ticino! Luisa and Andrea collected it in Piedmont and they decided to bring it to Ascona in Switzerland. The bike has various technical problems, but we will try to fix them as soon as possible, so that it can start travelling again and continue with the missions. In the coming weeks, we will present our two new riders!
Dear friends, this is the current situation, and the best thing to do now is to focus on Juna1 and Juna3. As far as Juna2 is concerned, we can only hope that someone contacts us soon with some valuable information.
